About the Castle Hill Village Easter Art Weekend 2011

Another Easter Art Weekend is in the planning stages. Here are some details the 2009 event. Details for 2011 event are coming soon..

Opening Night

Saturday 11th April - 5pm - The Opening night is by invitation only.

Art Exhibition

Sunday 12th & Monday 13th April – 10am - 4pm
Come and view our community’s artistic talent. All works will be for sale and include sculpture, photography, painting, books, music, textiles, ceramics and jade. A People’s Choice Award will be judged by the public so make sure you put your vote in. The winner will be announced at 4pm Monday 13th April. Sorry there will be no eftpos facilities - cash and cheque will be accepted.

Coffee & Food

Espresso coffee and tasty nibbles will be available in Community Hall during the Exhibition. If you’re hanging out for your Latte fix, Pete and Sonia will see you right.

Art Trail

Sunday 12th & Monday 13th April – 10am - 4pm
Another Art Trail will run through the village. Maps of the houses and studios involved, and opening times will be available at the Art Exhibition at the Community Hall. Look out for the red balloons.

Kids Art Workshops

Helene Blomfield & Friends are holding Kids Art Workshops
10 - 11am and 2 - 3pm both Sunday and Monday
$5 per child for materials
Ages 6 to 16
15 (Lot 8) Porter Place
Have fun and take home your creation.

Kids Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Bunny will be very busy Sunday morning. Meet Grant Guise at the Community Hall 9am for the hunt. Bring your Easter baskets.
